Our test is a molecular in vitro diagnostic test based on widely used nucleic acid amplification technology. It is intended for the qualitative detection of RNA from Influenza A, Influenza B, and RSV in nasopharyngeal, nasal, and oropharyngeal swab specimens and nasopharyngeal wash/aspirate or nasal aspirate specimens.
The test detects influenza A virus, influenza B virus, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and it is conveniently multiplexed together for RT-PCR:
- Influenza A virus
- Influenza B virus
- Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)
One Health Labs’ tests have not been approved or cleared by the FDA. The SARS-CoV-2 test was authorized by FDA under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for use by authorized laboratories. One Health Labs is a CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited lab.
The performance of our Respiratory Test was evaluated using contrived clinical samples. A total of 40 samples were tested: 10 individual negative clinical samples and 30 contrived positive samples which were prepared for testing by spiking individual negative clinical nasopharyngeal swab (NP) specimen matrix with known concentrations (various multiples of Limit of Detection) of culture fluids from influenza A, influenza B, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
- Influenza A 100%
- Influenza B 100%
- RSV 97.5%
